The installation kit is now available as an option with an integrated RFID chip, which enables simple and reliable digital identification. The chip operates using the NFC (Near Field Communication) standard and can be read contactlessly using standard smartphones or compatible readers; depending on the model, it can also be written to.

Data is exchanged over short distances (typically a few centimeters), ensuring precise and secure data capture directly at the component. Information such as installation location, type, serial number, maintenance data, or specific operator data can be stored on the chip and updated at any time.

Designed for underground use, the RFID chip is rugged and permanently protected against moisture. It is integrated into the tip of a flexible flag located at the head of the installation kit. After opening the street cap, this flag can be easily pulled out so that the chip is optimally positioned and can be conveniently read with a mobile device. This solution is available for all types of installation kits from DALMINEX.

This solution significantly simplifies digital documentation, maintenance, and inventory management, enabling modern, efficient collection of infrastructure data—directly on-site and without any additional effort.
